FEATURE
38/66kv high voltage cables are designed for higher voltages and higher current capacity than standard electrical cables, making them ideal for use in industrial, commercial and other high-powered applications. High voltage cables typically consist of two or more conductors housed inside an outer insulation material. The conductors can be made from either copper or aluminum, depending on the specific application. The insulation material usually consists of polyethylene or Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE). XLPE has superior safety characteristics compared to other insulation materials due to its ability to withstand higher temperatures and is thus preferred in many applications. The 38/66kv hv cable is designed to carry up to 66 kV of electricity between two points, while providing a maximum operating temperature of 90°C. This makes it suitable for long distances as well as underground installations with very low energy losses over the entire length of the cable due to its high dielectric strength and low capacitive reactance. In addition, this type of cable provides excellent mechanical protection against external forces such as vibration, impact and water ingress. When installing 38/66kv hv cables, it is important that proper attention is paid to the cable's route so that it does not come into contact with any other electrical elements or sources of interference such as radio waves, electromagnetic fields or any other unshielded conductor. Additionally, specific safety measures should be taken during installation in order to avoid any risks associated with high voltage cables.
